At the ends of 2003 a few trial competitions at the National Skydiving Centre Teuge showed that in the small country The Netherlands many swoopers where ready for a competition circuit.

The Dutch Swooping Tour was born. For 2004 eight competitions (including the Nationals) where scheduled over most Dutch DZ's.

During the season a new Dutch and a new World record for distance was set.
